As most IJN destroyers above tier 6 or so, AL Yukikaze has identical guns to Kagero, which have extremely hard-hitting HE shells but a rather low rate of fire. On the contrary to their comparatively low range, the F3s hit extremely hard, are one of the fastest torpedoes at the tier, and will reward players who make smart decisions, take strong positions, and have patience. A mere 8km of range on the F3s will prove difficult to use in a game fighting enemy ships with Radar or in a carrier game. The Japanese torpedo-destroyer branch becomes challenging to excel in at high tiers, but like Kagero, AL Yukikaze provides all the tools necessary for captains to do just that they need only bring patience and a willingness to learn how to handle her.Īs for playing her, players should note that AL Yukikaze only being able to slot Type F3 torpedoes comes with one major downside compared to her tech tree clone: the lack of range. even down to her near-complete lack of an AA suite.
